Perin Schultz attended the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating in 1982, with a degree in architecture. Soon afterward, she moved to Hawaii where she gained experience in both the interior and landscape fields, working on commercial hospitality and custom residential projects. She relocated to San Diego and continued to expand her knowledge, working with three different firms to design restaurants, school facilities, as well as custom home design. In 1989, Perin became licensed in the state of California. Since returning to the East Coast, she has completed a variety of freelance residential projects in New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island while raising a family. Throughout her career, Perin has continuously focused on interiors integrated with architecture.
Katy Scardina graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1984 with a degree in fine arts and a minor in business. She began her career in San Diego as a graphic designer for a national advertising publication, adding art framing, illustration, painting, faux painting and textiles to her skill set as she explored new horizons parallel to her husband's Navy career. Since moving to Rhode Island, Katy has worked in the horticultural field, applying her knowledge of design to landscaping. She creates custom container-plant arrangements for commercial and residential clients, as well as residential landscapes.
